151 Pro Hard As Nails Exterior Adhesive Cartridge 310ml

The 151 Exterior Hard As Nails High Power Adhesive is specially formulated to tolerate low temperatures for use in cold weather. An instant grab, high-strength adhesive, the Hard As Nails Exterior Adhesive is suitable for bonds and repairs to wood, metal, plastics, brickwork and other surfaces and materials.

Suitable for use with caulking guns, the 151 Exterior Hard As Nails High Power Adhesive can be painted or sanded once dry, providing a water-resistant finish to support joints.

Directions for use

Ensure surfaces are dry and free of dust, debris and grease. Dusty surfaces should be primed with one part PVA and five parts water and left to dry prior to applications.

Unscrew the nozzle and cut the tip of the cartridge, without damaging threads. Re-attach the nozzle. Cut the nozzle at a 45 degree angle for the required diameter of sealant. Attach the cartridge to the cartridge gun by retracting the plunger and inserting the cartridge nozzle into the front end of the gun. Squeeze the trigger until the cartridge is firmly in place without putting pressure on the plunger.

Apply by squeezing the plunger. Keep the nozzle at a 45 degree angle consistently throughout application. Apply one or two continue beads to the back of the item and immediately press into place. For larger items, apply adhesive around the perimeter approximately 50mm from the edge and additional beads at 300mm intervals.

The adhesive dries within 24-48 hours in warm, dry conditions. Curing time may be significantly extended in damp, cold or humid conditions. For heavy panels, use support until the adhesive has fully dried.

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from frost.
