Pound Wholesale were absolutely delighted to see our partners FACEandME, a family and community enterprise that organises football teams for various age groups, claim some of the top prizes in the 2025/2026 season with their U11s and U12s teams.

Everybody at Pound Wholesale would like to congratulate the incredible achievements of the U11 and U12 FACE football teams, and pay tribute to the commitment and hard work shown by all FACE players, coaches, volunteers and families as the teams travelled around Lancashire throughout the season.

What is FACE?

Based in the heart of Lancashire, FACE is a community project that believes when families, children, staff and supporters come together, amazing things can happen. Supporting the communicate, raising awareness and helping to change the lives of young people, FACE is a non-profit organisation that supports building a more integrated society.

FACE aims to deliver in five key areas; Sport, Health, Education, Cohesion and Charity.

Highly active in Blackburn, Lancashire and across England since its formulation in 2018, FACE as a community helps;

  • Children & Young People
  • People with Disabilities
  • People of a Particular Ethnic or Racial Origin
  • Other Charities or Voluntary Bodies
  • The General Public & Mankind

Providing facilities and activities to help individuals facing difficulties in youth or with their age, disability, financial hardship or social circumstances, FACE makes an amazing impact in the community by improving the condition of life.

As an example, recently FACE has conducted a tireless fundraising campaign to raise awareness and funds to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), highlighting the power of community, compassion and teamwork as children, parents, family members and supporters came together to support the cause.

Achievements of FACE Football Teams in the 2025/2026 Campaign

Under-12s Crowned League Champions!

Competing against teams across the East Lancashire region, the FACE U12s team were crowned leave champions for the 2025/2026 season, scoring an incredible 89 goals to win 12 out of 13 matches, clinching the title by 5 points.

A post on the FACE Instagram account hailed the season and achievement.

Under-11s Crowned Shield Winners at East Lancashire Football Alliance

The FACE U11s team went all the way to win the East Lancashire Football Alliance Shield in a memorable weekend, edging out Langho U11s in the final.

An Instagram post by FACE expressed the communities delight with the players’ “hard work, teamwork and determination”.

“So proud of every single one of you - your hard work, teamwork, and determination has truly paid off. You’ve represented the team with heart and passion every step of the way.”

Though the results and achievements for the U12s and U11s were incredible, Pound Wholesale are proud to support the FACE community irrespective of their results and performance in sporting competition. Pound Wholesale would like to again commend the entire FACE organisation for their exceptional and invaluable contribution to local communities, and again congratulate the U11s and U12s boys teams for their achievements this season, and we are wishing them the very best for the future!
