Shipping & Delivery

No Minimum order: Delivery charges vary by postcode and calculated by metric size and weight and will be applied at checkout.

*Free Delivery is not available for some parts of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands Channel Islands and Offshore Islands. Delivery will be calculated at the checkout phase.

If your order drops below the ex-VAT figure for free delivery, you may be required to make an additional payment for delivery.

Orders up to the Free delivery offer are calculated and can be viewed at the checkout phase.

Delivery Timescales

Orders placed before 10am are usually processed within 24-72 hours (longer during busier periods) and dispatched out for delivery according to the carriage selected. Orders placed after 12pm, over the weekend or on bank holidays will be processed from the following day, and will apply to this processing schedule. Orders are not dispatched over weekends and bank holidays.

Europe – 10 Working Days

European customers can select "Customer to Collect/Arrange Collection" or "Carriage to be Charged Later" in the checkout phase, due to the complex nature of shipping in the EU. You can expect to receive your delivery within 10 days of placing your order.

Deliveries take place from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm unless you have chosen additional services such as AM/PM, Timed or Saturday delivery. If there are additional requirements, please fill out the notes field during checkout. Additional services are chargeable. Please call our customer service team to add this on.

It is your responsibility to ensure the correct delivery address is given to us when you place your order. Any changes once an order is received or dispatched may incur additional costs.

No amendments to an order can be made once it has been placed. You will need to place an additional order.

Please note: Any emergency requests and information should be reported to us via telephone, as we may take between 2-3 working days to respond to emails.

Additional Delivery Services

Timed Services - If you require timed or additional services like AM/PM or Saturday delivery, please contact us for a quote by calling 01254790233. You can pay for these options at checkout. This service is dependent on whether it’s available in your area.

Handball – If you require assistance receiving your delivery, service is available at additional costs and depends on availability. Please call after placing your order on 01254790233

Tail lift services are chargeable from the haulier service. By default this is set as Yes so you would be charged for the delivery being taken off via a Tail Lift. By selecting No, you take full responsibility for taking off the delivery with a forklift that you have access to. If no forklift and driver is on site at the time of delivery, you cannot take off the delivery by any other means, and the haulier service will take the pallet back to the depot. A re-delivery charge and any other additional charges will be required to be paid in full before another re-delivery attempt is made.

If you refuse to pay for the re-delivery and/or associated costs, the pallet will be returned to us and we will charge in full for the attempted delivery and return as well as any other associated costs + 35% restocking fee. Failure to take in your delivery at the allotted time will incur additional costs for the re-delivery and/or other associated costs. Again, if the pallet is returned to us we will charge in full for the attempted delivery and return as well as any other associated costs + 35% restocking fee.

If you have requested additional delivery services at checkout, we will try our best to accommodate this as this is determined by the services available in your area. If the service is not available at the time of us shipping, we will advise you of this and the money returned to you. Please note, we are not liable for any consequences resulting from order notes as they are advisory only.

Receiving Your Order

Before shipping any pallet order, we will call to confirm the delivery date. If we're unable to reach you, we will inform you via email and place pallet orders on a booking in service with the haulier, which means the haulier service will call prior to your delivery. All customers will receive an email which will provide the date of delivery and specify the courier or haulier service.

It is your responsibility to ensure clear access is given for the driver delivering your goods. It is also your responsibility to inform us of any access issues prior to you placing your order. You will be responsible for any charges we receive for failed deliveries, parking charges, re-deliveries, access issues, or failing to accept your delivery in the allotted time of the delivery driver. If your goods are being delivered via pallet, the driver’s responsibility is to drop your pallet outside of the given delivery address, or where it is safe to do so. It is then your responsibility to take your pallet into your premises. You may ask the driver to take empty pallets, but it is at their discretion.

We can deliver to Amazon, fulfilment centres and third-party facilities, however, we cannot be held responsible if stock is misplaced in Amazon's or other parties' warehouses or networks. We would require the customer to accept liability for any such eventuality. We also ship boxes as unsorted and cannot attach labels. We normally recommend dispatch to your home or work address, where the packages can be sorted and prepared for Amazon or fulfilment centres in the correct way by the customer.

Any orders shipped via DPD local can be delivered to local shops if deliveries are unsuccessful. The location of your parcels will be advised by SMS, email or a delivery note from DPD Local directly. You will have seven days to collect your parcels from your local store before the parcels are returned to our facility. If you fail to collect the parcels and they're turned to us, returns, redelivery and restocking terms may apply (see "returns" AND "receiving your order").

If you fail to accept your delivery and it is returned to us, and fail to respond to us, the order will be cancelled and a 35% restocking fee can be applied.

At Pound Wholesale, we pride ourselves on giving you the best service possible and we have teamed up with time critical carriage companies that believe in our philosophy.

We use tracked & signed services for all our deliveries with the option of timed services.

Shortages, Damages, Defects & Product Changes

Whilst every effort is made to ensure you receive your pallet in perfect condition, damages may well occur during transit. Any external signs of damage must be noted on the delivery note whilst the driver is present, and you must inform us straightaway by calling 01254790233. If there is significant damage to the pallet, you can refuse the delivery but you need to contact us first. If possible, please provide photographic evidence to illustrate any damages/irregularities.

If an item of stock is unavailable at the point of shipment, we maintain the right to dispatch the rest of the order and can issue a credit for shortages without correspondence. Where possible, we may contact you to offer a replacement. If viable, we will dispatch stock and send remaining items when available. Your delivery could be delayed if items are not available on your order, this may exceed our regular timescales. We maintain the right the fulfil your order in what we consider a reasonable timescale, unless stipulated by the customer at the time of order placement.

Please note, we must investigate to corroborate claims of shortages and damages. This can be a time-consuming process as we must accumulate evidence from CCTV, log reports, scan reports, picking list reports, haulier and delivery networks and other resources at our disposal. We cannot issue credits until our investigations are complete.

Images are for only illustration purposes only. Product artwork, pack quantity, size, colour and other attributes can change over time, often before we're able to update the image and information on the product page. If unsure of descriptions it is the customers responsibility to call and check descriptions prior to ordering. Purchases of assorted products may not necessarily dictate that they will be received in any equal quantities indicated by product imagery or description.

All orders over £250.00 ex VAT are shipped on a pallet. Any orders below £250 ex VAT dispatched via courier services cannot contain glass, plastic, aerosols, liquids and other materials and potentially hazardous substances.

If the customer demands these items are sent with courier services, we cannot accept responsibility for breakages to any small items such as liquids, plastic and glass went sent with a courier network. Courier networks generally do not accept claims for these items. It is at our discretion at the point of dispatch which items we will and will not send via courier services.

We accept no responsibility for any damages/shortages which may occur if your order is a collection once it has left our facility.

All claims for shortages and damages must be forwarded by both email & phone within 3 working days from the date of delivery. You can email us at customerservice@poundwholesale.co.uk to create a ticket, or create a ticket manually from the account portal.

Sale & Discount Codes

Our sale offer codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and can only be redeemed once per customer. All export orders are excluded from sales offers. Pound Wholesale reserve the right to disallow the application of any discount code or voucher at any time.

Pre-Order Terms and Conditions

Pound Wholesale will do its utmost to ship Pre-Orders in accordance with the expected ship date. If this changes, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity.
You are responsible for keeping your shipping and contact information up-to-date to ensure the shipment of your Pre-Order. Please call us on 01254 790233 or email us at info@poundwholesale.co.uk if you should need to update any of your information.

You will be charged at the time your Pre-Order is placed. No discounts, refunds or credits will otherwise be offered due to any such delay. We will also not accept any returns once delivered.

These Pre-Order Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”) govern the placing of Pre-Orders (“Pre-Order”) with Pound Plus Distribution Ltd the “Company”) for the Product (as defined below). Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your Pre-Order for Pound Plus Distribution Products. By submitting your Pre-Order, you agree to be legally bound to these terms.

Section 1 - Products

You may Pre-Order products separately or in combination with each other. Pound Wholesale may also make other products available for Pre-Order in its discretion (collectively, the “Products”).

Section 2 – Pre-Order Registration

When placing a Pre-Order, you will be required to provide certain information, such as your address and billing information. You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and you shall ensure that such information is kept current. The Company shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes out-dated, and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. You can update your information at any time prior to your order shipment by sending an e-mail to info@poundwholesale.co.uk

Section 3 - Payment

You will be charged at the time of placing a Pre-Order, which will include any other associated costs, such as shipping. If the Company is unable to ship a Pre-Order on or before one year of your placing, the Company shall process a full refund to you. Your placing of a Pre-Order constitutes your express agreement to the company charging of your provided payment method at such time. The purchase price does not include import duties, taxes and other government charges, which are your responsibility.

Section 4 - Shipping

The expected shipping date for Pre-Order Products will be clearly noted on each product page, subject to reasonable delays in manufacturing and/or delivery. Such date is only an estimate, is subject to change, and the Company does not represent or warrant that it will be able to ship the Product by the estimated date. In the event of a delay and if the estimated shipment and/or release of the product is not met, the Company are not responsible for any damages that may occur, nor shall it be obligated, except as set forth in these Terms, to provide any discounts, refunds or credits. The products will be shipped in the order in which the Company receives your Pre-Order. Shipments will be made Monday – Friday, excluding holidays, unless otherwise noted.

Section 5 – Non-Cancellable/Refundable

Once your pre-order is placed it is final, non­-cancellable and non-refundable, except as/if specified in these terms and the applicable terms of sale. Any orders containing made-to-manufacture items are strictly not refundable, non-cancellable and non-returnable.

Section 6 - Terms and Conditions of Sale

The purchase of the products is subject to additional terms and conditions provided by the Company. The current Terms and Conditions of Sale can be found below in Terms of Service and are subject to change without notice. Your purchase of the product will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Refund Policy will not apply to Pre-order products.

Section 7 - Privacy

The information you provide for the Pre-Order of Products will be subject to the Company's Privacy Policy found below.

Section 8 - Disclaimer

Except as expressly provided in the Company’s Terms and Conditions of Sale (found below in Terms of Service) and Returns Policy, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the products are provided “as is” and “as available”. This includes all faults and without guaranteed warranty of any kind. The Company hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with respect to the products, express, implied or statutory. This includes, but is not limited to, the implied warranties and/or conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment and non-infringement of third-party rights.

International Orders & Export Enquiries

The minimum order for export is one pallet, or orders of the value of £1000 ex-VAT and greater. We cannot dispatch orders internationally for less than £1000 ex-VAT, but you can collect from our dispatch facility in Blackburn.

Overseas shipments to Ireland, European states and international countries depend on the size of the order. Please contact the Pound Wholesale Customer Service team for your personal quote before placing your order.

VAT

Pound Wholesale will not charge VAT to customers in Ireland that have provided a valid VAT number and EORI number.

All international customers must pay the VAT as the goods are being moved into the UK. Once the goods have left the UK and Pound Wholesale has received a valid Proof of Export document, in addition to valid VAT numbers, any VAT charges will be refunded. We will not refund the VAT until we have unequivocally verified your CMR document.

We are not responsible for any bank charges to the recipient bank account.

Freight Forwarders

Pound Wholesale are more than happy to deliver your order to any UK freight forwarder, who can then ship your order to any destination in the world.

However, we work on an Ex-Warehouse basis, which dictates that payment is required up-front, and you would need to coordinate the freight forwarder, their costs and relevant export documentation.

We can provide a shipping cost quote to any destination around the world but please be aware shipments can be complex and will require time to provide quotations.

Pound Wholesale provide standard paperwork services for international orders. We provide standard commercial invoices, packing slips and pallet labels with every international order.

However, any additional or complex paperwork requests are chargeable. Customs clearance charges are applicable. Pound Wholesale does not take responsibility for any additional charges relating to your shipment. Any additional charges need to be resolved between the purchaser and freight forwarder.

Pound Wholesale do not accept liability for any issues that occur once the pallet/consignment is signed for by the freight forwarder.

Returns & Replacements

In addition to your legal rights (under UK distance selling regulations) we offer a 7 day no fuss returns guarantee - if you are not happy with your product within 7 working days after delivery, you can return the products to us for a refund. Please note, a restocking fee of 35% will be applied as well as the cost of delivery. Please create your return from the account portal (see My Returns). We will refund your payment within 7 days of receiving the returned goods after inspection by our returns department.

You will need to require an RMA number before sending your order back to us.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that items are returned safely and are protected against shipping damages. All items returned must be in their original packaging and outer box as the items were received.

Once your return has been received, processed and accepted, we will refund your money within 14 days. If you have paid by cheque your account will be credited within 14 days.

Any returns associated with orders which were collected from our facility must be returned back to us.

Cancellations

All orders can be cancelled with full compensation up until it's ready for dispatch. Any cancellation will incur a variable charge which will be deducted from any refund on the subtotal figure. Please be aware this charge can be as high as 5.4% depending on your method of payment, in addition to a standard processing admin charge of 5% which applies to all cancellations. Any charge is strictly based on the cost incurred by cancelling and refunding an order.

You must inform us of cancellations as soon as possible via telephone, as email requests may be missed or not seen before processing, especially over bank holidays and weekends. We will also request an email to confirm the cancellation.

If your order is fully processed by our warehouse team, cancellations will incur a 35% of full value restocking fee, as stock is moved from multiple warehouses to our dispatch facility. This will exclude any costs of transacting credit cards, all debit card payments will be refunded in full. You may also be responsible for any additional delivery charges incurred as a result of cancellations once orders have been processed or dispatched. If your order has been dispatched and you wish to cancel, re-direction charges can occur in addition to restocking fees.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Ordering: Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Pounds Sterling (GBP). There is no minimum order value. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Order Reference numbers. It is the customers responsibility to add their VAT registration number (where applicable), and that they are legally entitled to use said registration number.

Payment: All our payments are provided by SagePay, allowing you to pay by all major credit and debit cards, as well as local payment options depending on your country. After completing our checkout process you will be directed to SagPay's secure page to complete the payment. You will receive a payment confirmation email from SagePay as well as an order confirmation email from Pound Wholesale. 

Personal Credit Cards: Any payments made by credit card will incur no fee for dealing with that transaction.

American Express Business Cards & Corporate Cards: Any payments via American Express Corporate/Business Cards will incur a transaction fee up to 5.4%.

Debit Cards: Any payment made by debit card will not incur any additional charges for using said debit card.

All advertised prices are excluding VAT will be added to your basket during the payment process.

On orders delivered to the United Kingdom (incl. Northern Ireland) VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate. For the rest of the Europe Union (Incl. Rep of Ireland) orders will not be charged VAT providing that V.A.T registration numbers are provided for that company. We will not be responsible for any customs duties or import charges in the destination country.

Prices: We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. Pound Wholesale reserves the right to cancel and refund orders with any pricing errors at any time.

All orders are on a first come first served basis, and Pound Wholesale reserves the right to decline orders for suspect, fraudulent or high value purchases.

Whilst we do our best to ensure all of our content and images are accurate, and will act quickly to amend mistakes, we cannot ensure that images, descriptions and specifications are 100 per cent accurate. Images, descriptions and specifications are intended for descriptive purposes only, and we are not responsible for any errors in product descriptions, product specifications, images and any other information on product and brand pages. We have the right to change prices without notification.

Retention of Title

Until payment for all goods under all contracts between the parties has been made in full:

  1. The goods shall remain the property of the company, but the risk therein all liability to third parties in respect thereof shall pass to the purchaser on delivery.
  2. The purchaser may sell the goods in the normal course of its business but shall hold and pursue claims for the proceeds of their sale equal to the price of the goods for and on behalf of the seller.

We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information about our customers to any outside party. These terms of use will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to these terms of use will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
